AirSMS

Your data moves as fast as your top-up, and no further

Air SMS sends airtime, data and bundles to 80+ countries. To do that we need a phone number, an amount and a way to take payment. That is close to all we ask for. We do not sell your data. We do not trade it with advertisers.

This page explains what we keep, why we keep it and how long it stays. Read it with our terms of service and our cookie notice.

What we collect, and nothing beyond it

We ask for three things. Each one has a job. If a field is not needed to send your credit, we do not request it.

  • 01

    Account details

Your email address and a password hash. We never store the password itself. A display name is optional.

The recipient number, the country, the operator we matched and the amount you sent. This is the receipt.

    Payment data

Card numbers go straight to our payment provider. We keep only the last four digits and the card brand.

We also log the basics every website logs. That means an IP address, a browser type and a timestamp. Those logs catch fraud and keep the service upright. See how a top-up is routed for the full path your request takes.

How long each record stays

Nothing is kept forever. Some records have a legal clock on them. The rest you control yourself. Delete a saved recipient and it is gone.

Payment card data never sits on our servers. Our payment provider holds it under PCI-DSS Level 1 rules, the strictest tier in card security. Traffic between you, us and the operator is encrypted end to end.

Five rights you can use today

These rights come from GDPR and similar laws. You do not need a reason. You do not need a lawyer. Email us and the clock starts.

  1. 01

    See your data

Ask for a copy of everything we hold. We reply within 30 days, free of charge.

  2. 02

    Fix what is wrong

Edit your profile in the app. Email us for anything the app will not let you change.

  3. 03

    Delete your account

We erase your profile and saved numbers. Paid receipts stay, because the law says so.

  4. 04

    Take it elsewhere

Request your records as a machine-readable file. Move them to another service freely.

  5. 05

    Say no to marketing

One click in any email. Service alerts about a top-up you sent still reach you.

Sharing is limited to what a top-up needs. The receiving operator gets the number and the amount. Our payment provider gets the card. Nobody else gets either. Questions on the mechanics sit on our frequently asked questions.

Ask us anything about your data

A person reads every request. Tell us the email on your account and what you need. We confirm within two working days.
